How ratings are calculated
Every overall score is a weighted average of six criteria, scored independently from 1 to 5 based on direct testing and evidence.

Overall rating = Σ(criterion score × weight), rounded to one decimal. We never adjust scores after publication based on vendor feedback or affiliate performance.
